Product Description
Mang Lucid Dream Aid is a non-sedating natural lucid dream aid formulated with extracts of Espand, an ancestral plant that has been used by Zoroastrian priests of ancient Iran in rituals to see into the realm of souls and after death. Mang Lucid Dream Aid is also formulated with natural extracts of Qian Ceng Ta, an ancestral plant from Traditional Chinese Medicine that is known as the tower of 1000 steps for its physical similarity to a Buddhist pagoda and mind-elevating effects. We also formulate Mang Lucid Dream Aid with the natural extracts of grapefruit, as its antioxidants have been shown to improve the bioavailability of Espand-derived beta-carbolines, and augments the synergistic effects of Espand and Qian Ceng Ta extracts in concert.
Mang Lucid Dream helps promote dream lucidity and recall in the REM stage of sleep so that you can wake up with insights from your somnus journey.

FAQ
How will I feel after taking Mang Lucid Dream Aid?
- Some people report feeling tranquil after taking Mang Lucid Dream Aid, but most people do not feel physiological effects. Some in our community have described the sensation as similar to the sense of relaxation and calm from a mixture of matcha and chamomile tea. Upon waking the next day, people report feeling a sense of awe and wonder.
Can I take Mang Lucid Dream Aid every day?
- We designed Mang Lucid Dream Aid so that you can take it safely every night without becoming dependent. It can be emotionally overwhelming to repeatedly experience deeply vivid dreams, so we recommend for most people to cycle Mang Lucid Dream Aid every other day or every third day or to follow a protocol such as 4-on / 3-off or 5-on / 2-off.
Is Mang Lucid Dream Aid safe?
- Mang Lucid Dream Aid is safe when taken as directed at the recommended dosage.
- We designed our Mang® formula from the purified natural plant extracts of Espand and Qian Ceng Ta. In addition to their anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties, the natural beta-Carbolines extracted from Espand also function as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) [1] that can cause an increase in blood pressure when consuming foods containing tyramine [2].
- The levels of tyramine in food have been decreasing over time, thanks to advancements in agricultural technology and improvements in food processing and storage. Although tyramine related hypertension affects only a small minority of the population, we recommend avoiding tyramine-rich foods when taking Mang Lucid Dream Aid. Taking Mang Lucid Dream Aid on an empty stomach will also mitigate the risk of hypertension and nausea.
Why is it best to take Mang Lucid Dream Aid on an empty stomach?
- The majority of your body’s neurotransmitters are in the gut, not the brain. For this reason we recommend taking Mang in the evening at least 3 hours after eating, as food can interfere with neurotransmitter absorption. While this is not a requirement, the closer your stomach is to empty, the higher the bioavailability.
How does it work?
- Our Lucid Dream Aid contains Mang®, a precise minidose formulation of Espand-derived beta-Carbolines and Qian Ceng Ta-derived nutrients that begin to affect the central nervous system within 20 minutes of being ingested. The compounds in Mang® have been shown to:
- Inhibit neurotoxins [3] and provide neuroprotective antioxidant effects [4]
- Inhibit tumor cells [5] and promote the growth of anti-tumor cytokines [6]
- Inhibit inflammatory signaling and the growth of inflammatory prostaglandins [7]
- Promote neurogenesis by increasing BDNF and hNPC levels
- Modulate neuroreceptors such as serotonin, dopamine, acetylcholine, histamine, and imidazoline, that are involved in perception and consciousness [8]
- Through these actions, Mang® promotes high-frequency sleep during the REM cycle, supporting lucid insight and recall.
How does Mang Lucid Dream Aid differ from Haurvatat Deep Sleep Aid?
- Although derived from purified extracts of the same Espand plant, Mang Lucid Dream Aid contains a different blend and dosage of selected beta-Carbolines than Haurvatat Deep Sleep Aid. While Haurvatat Deep Sleep Aid is formulated to promote slow wave brain activity during the deep phase of sleep, Mang Lucid Dream aid is formulated to promote high frequency brain activity during the REM phase of sleep.
- Haurvatat Deep Sleep Aid is formulated to be a sub-perceptive microdose, whereas Mang Lucid Dream Aid is formulated to be a slightly perceptive minidose.
Can I take Mang Lucid Dream Aid together with Haurvatat Deep Sleep Aid? Will I get both augmented deep sleep and lucid dreams?
- While there is no safety concern in combining dosages of the two products, you will not get an additive benefit from taking both Mang and Haurvatat together. Loosely put, Mang as a minidose will “overpower” the Haurvatat microdose when taken in combination effectively wasting a dose of Haurvatat deep sleep aid.
Ancestral Philosophy
Espand – Holy Plant Wisdom
Mang (Banj) is a strong entheogenic Elixir that is referred to in multiple ancient Zoroastrian texts. The potion was formulated by Magi, priests of ancient Iran and taken in ritual settings to access the realm of after-death through dreaming [9]. We created this ancestral Lucid Dream Aid with the inspiration of Mang, to help you derive lucid insights from your nightly REM sleep cycle.
The key ingredient in Mang Lucid Dream Aid is Espand, also known as Wild Rue or Peganum Harmala. Espand is an abundant source of beta-carbolines [10], a class of naturally occurring organic compounds with psychoactive and neuroprotective properties [11]. Beta-carbolines are found naturally in a few plants, including Espand (P. Harmala) and Yage (Banisteriopsis Caapi), the ancestral Amazonian plant that is the main ingredient in the psychedelic brew Ayahuasca [12]. Thanks to modern science, we now understand the neurochemistry behind what our ancestors discovered thousands of years ago.
Qian Ceng Ta – The Tower of 1000 steps
Mang Lucid Dream Aid is also formulated with Qian Ceng Ta, an ancestral plant used for over 2,000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine that is known as the tower of 1000 steps for its physical similarity to a Buddhist pagoda and mind-elevating effects. Qian Ceng Ta, which is also referred to in Chinese as “more valuable than gold” has been used for centuries in the treatment of gastrointestinal issues, to relax muscles and tendons, and to promote blood circulation, and has been shown to improve memory.
Pharmaceutical Science
Beta-Carbolines – Ancestral Secret to Neurological Health
Beta-carbolines such as harmine [13] are unique neuromodulators that have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory activity in neurons [14] and promote neurogenesis by increasing levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) [15] and human neural progenitor cells (hNPC) [16].
Beta-carbolines also interact with the sleep cycle via the pineal gland, the part of the brain that regulates the body’s circadian rhythm. The pineal gland regulates the sleep cycle via the synthesis of melatonin from serotonin (the “happiness hormone”) [17], and is also believed to produce both beta-carbolines and the psychedelic compound DMT (the “spirit molecule”) via alternate pathways [18].
Dreams that are complex and immersive tend to occur during the REM stage of the sleep cycle [19]. REM sleep is characterized by brainwave patterns that are similar to that of the awake state, in particular, high-frequency beta and gamma brainwaves that are associated with insight and connectivity [20]. Supplementation with Mang Lucid Dream Aid has been shown in individuals to increase high-frequency brain patterns during the REM stage of sleep, promoting lucidity and recall of vivid dreams.

B
Barb (Fairbanks, US) Good note first: I did get very restful sleep the first few nights, woke up without grogginess.
I normally have very vivid dreams but wanted to try this to work on my lucid dreaming. I took it 4 nights only and as directed, empty stomach, etc. My dreams were very dulled down and a lot harder to recall when I woke up. My last night I wasn't able to fall asleep soon after taking it, due to kids, and it felt like I had caffeine. My mind was buzzing and active all night but without the jitters. For the price I was expecting magic I guess.
R
Rob Rubin (Addison, US) I have tried it a few times now and have experienced lucid dreams. When using the product my dreams have been vivid and more memorable than without the product. I also experienced less fog / greater clarity the following day.

Michael F (Columbus, US) The Mang Lucid Dream Aid has noticeably increased dream vividness and dream recall for me. The is a positive "tone" to the dreams, quite different than what I've experienced with other aids, such as galantamine. Definitely do experience a "wired" feel after taking, but it did not dramatically impact my sleep in a negative way - though I agree with their recommendation not to take this on multiple consecutive nights.
Overall, very pleased with this.

Ariane Sommer Kahler (Los Angeles, US) I have always wanted to be able to deepen my experience with lucid dreaming and this product is highly effective at supporting a lucid dream state, as well as much more vivid dreams. When I take Mang in the evening as part of my bed time routine, it feels like I am in a 3-D movie that I direct. Super fun and also helpful for working with the psyche, as well as working through certain things for self growth. I highly recommend!
G
GARY (New York, US) After taking it once or twice I stopped due to high pressure and the difficulty of following a restrictive diet due to MAO inhibitors. Might work well for others, but just not worth the risk for me.
